Nestroypreise vergeben: Drei Preisträger geehrt – Ein Abend voller Glanz und Gloria!

Wow, what a night! I still can't believe I actually went to the Nestroypreisverleihung. Honestly, I felt like I was in a movie, all glitz and glamour. You know, the whole shebang. I'd always wanted to go – it's such a huge thing in the Viennese theatre scene, right? But getting tickets? Forget about it! It's harder than finding a decent Wiener Schnitzel on a Sunday afternoon.

This year, though, I snagged a ticket through a friend of a friend – a total miracle! And let me tell you, it was totally worth the hassle. The atmosphere was electric. Seriously, the energy in the room was incredible. You could practically feel the anticipation. I even bumped into a couple of famous actors! One even complimented my shoes, which, let’s be honest, were a total steal from a vintage shop.

I literally couldn't look away the entire time. Truly remarkable acting. I'm adding that play to my "must-see" list ASAP! It’s a testament to the quality of theatre we have in Vienna. Seriously, Viennese theatre is amazing.

I even managed to get a selfie with the director of one of my favourite plays. (Let's just say I'm still recovering from the fan-girl meltdown.)

It's a reminder of why I love theatre so much. And it's something I'll never forget. I’m already planning my attack on tickets for next year!
