Kann Rieder Stuttgart überzeugen? Live-Check – Meine ehrliche Meinung!

Hey Leute, Fußballfans! Let's talk VfB Stuttgart and their new signing, Borna Sosa. Can he actually convince us? That's the big question, right? I've been following Stuttgart for years – through thick and thin, man, and let me tell you, this season's been a rollercoaster. So, I figured I'd share my thoughts after watching a few games. I'll be honest, it’s been a bit of a mixed bag.

Erste Eindrücke – Ein bisschen holprig

My first impression? A little… rough around the edges. Sosa's obviously got talent, you can see it. His passing is pretty slick, some real killer passes there, I'll give him that. But, man, the first couple of games were a bit of a struggle for him. He seemed a little lost sometimes, you know? Like he was still figuring out the team's rhythm. It felt kinda like watching a new kid in class who’s still trying to find their place.

I remember one game in particular – against Bayern, I think – where he had a couple of massive giveaways. Ugh. My heart sank. I was thinking, "Oh no, another one." It was frustrating, but you gotta remember, it's a tough league, the Bundesliga. It’s not easy to just waltz in and immediately dominate. It takes time to adjust.

But don't get me wrong, there were some seriously bright spots! His crosses are top-notch – seriously impressive accuracy. A few times, he almost created goals with these amazing deliveries into the box. And defensively? He’s actually pretty solid, much better than I expected. He's strong in the tackles, reads the game well, quite often intercepting passes. He’s got great stamina too, running up and down that left flank like a Duracell bunny!

He’s also shown great composure. There have been moments of panic from other players under pressure, but Sosa has mostly kept his head. This is a massive plus, shows he has a strong mentality. I admire that in a player.

Verbesserungsbedarf – Wo er noch arbeiten muss

Okay, so where does he need improvement? Definitely his decision-making in the final third. Sometimes he tries to overcomplicate things, which leads to turnovers. He needs to trust his instincts a bit more, and maybe simplify his game at times. Less flashy, more effective – that's what he needs to focus on.

Another thing: his positioning. There are times when he's out of place, leaving gaps in the defense. This needs work. Consistent practice and better understanding of the team’s strategy are key here.

Fazit: Potential da, aber noch Luft nach oben

So, can Rieder Stuttgart überzeugen? The short answer is: partially, yes. He's shown flashes of brilliance, and his potential is undeniable. But he still needs time to fully integrate into the team and refine certain aspects of his game. It's a work in progress, folks. But I'm optimistic!
